With the rise of the premium multiplayer subscription, it’s more important than ever before to drive players to play matches with flesh-and-blood human beings online. They are inherently multiplayer concepts, even if you’re playing by yourself.įocus on multiplayer artificial intelligence has waned over the last 15 years. ![]() ![]() Racing games are one of those genres, like fighting games or shooters, where simulating how real human people play the game is vital to the experience. If you were to ask me what the most important features of a racing game are, somewhere near the top of the list would be artificial intelligence.
